Two Cats + A Herd Of Buffalo

This is one of the most fun projects I have ever worked on, Dos Gatos + A Herd Of Buffalo is an art show that Milligan University hosts at Dos Gatos Coffee Bar and I was asked to be the lead of the production team for the campaign; which is a huge honor. The challenge here is being able to uniquely design and illustrate imagery that conveys the theme of the art/design showcase while keeping it fun due to the setting of the show. Me and another artist Abbey Cartagena decided to come up with a general sketch of a cat and then pick two very contrasting styles to design over that sketch. We then combined her vector based cute cat with my robot cat to both reference the fine art and digital art that would be displayed in the show. I was then responsible for taking our art and designing the rest of the poster, and pins that would be given out at the show. Not only was the design project a huge success in teamwork and good design fundamentals but the show was also packed out!
